Rental Apartments in Winter

Depending on where your units are located, in the winter, frozen pipes can lead to major expenses.  The best way to avoid frozen pipes is to have tenants in the winter time or maintain heating while vacant.  Exposed pipes should be wrapped or weatherized if your units are in areas with sever winter climates.  The last thing an real estate investor wants is a pipe that is cracked due to cold weather.  Remember to use extra effort to rent your units before the winter months, and take care of your plumbing.
